これからは教育。。。Education is the most valuable asset
今日ファイナンスの授業で野村證券からの金融のプロの話を聞くことができました。面白かった、というより鳥肌がたちました。その先生のお話はすべて今後の経済の流れ、世界富の流れなどでしたが、なぜかカンボジアのことが心配になってしまいました。
先生が強調したのは「教育」でした。教育はもっとも価値の大きい資産ですって。
世界の工場のほとんどは先進国から出ていて、インドや中国そしてベトナムに進出しています。それはこれらの国には安い賃金の優秀な人材がたくさんいるからです。そうです、教育がこれらの国を支えているのです。では、カンボジアは？へへへへ、言葉になりません。
高校を卒業する試験（日本で言うとセンター試験）には学生がお金を集めて監視員に渡すのです。カンニングのためです。大学にしても高校にしても、自分の夢に向かって、力をつけるために頑張る学生がどれくらいいるでしょう？
もちろんそれは学生だけのせいじゃないです。先生と社会は大いに責任があると思います。子供たち、若者に「明るい未来とは何か？人生の宝とは何か？」誰も 教えてくれないからです。「努力の報い」なんか誰も信じないでしょう。なぜなら、カンボジアではカネとコネがなければひどく無視されます。
正直、とても不安で怖いです。このままだと、近い将来にカンボジアには何も残らないでしょう。資源が持っていかれ、国民の生活も改善されない、残るのは枯 れた土地と破壊された環境。。。なんと惨めな状況でしょう。環境を再生する力さえないでしょう。どうすればいいと思いますか？できることが何だと思います か？
Cambodia's future...
Today, I had a chance listening to the finacial professional from Nomura finacial group.
He emphasized that for the next 10 years, there will be an unpredictable development in Asia's economy. Because of the globalization, everyone has the same chance, the problem is whether you are able to catch the chance and you are competent enough to grab the chance.
By the way, because of the globalization, the lower wage with qualified human resource is required, that's a chance for developing countries to attract foreign investment to their countries and get developed. As you can see, India has the highest level of mathematic, China and Vietnam has qualified citizens with low wage. That's why India, China and Vietnam are attractive countries for foreign investors. How about Cambodia?
Well, what is Cambodian education's level? Even during high school's final exam, the candidates collect the money to give to the controlers so that they can cheat. How many students care about the knowledge they have? They need only the certificate.
It is not only the students, but also the teachers who have never cared of the quality of education in Cambodia.
If the education is not improved, Cambodia will be left behind. All resource Cambodia has will be taken away. For Cambodian, there will only be the dead land and the effect of the destruction of environment. We will not even have the budget to revive the forest or to clean the rivers. If we do any reform in education, this is the result we can predict for Cambodia's short future.
Don't you think it is scary destination for our country? What could we do to improve the situation?

How are you doin? Not hear from you for quite long. How about the result of your exam? A or B or C?
Well, it is really difficult to move the world. But it is better doing something than just leave thing go worst.
I think, first of all we need to find the cause why our students don't study hard. What pushed you to make effort? If you can find the cause you can also find the answer.
For my case, I tried to study hard because I wanted to escape from poor life. Of course, I was not sure, I would become rich, but at least my life would be better.
Now I found that what I earned from study are much more valuable than money.
So, if I can tell our students the way to find the better life they may have dream, they may work harder.
I don't know it is an effective way or not, but I bet there must be something paid back if we move.
We can't leave cambodia to be a poorest country with poor land and poor natural resource because of our poor human resource.
Hi! hp!! yes firstly thanks for your asking. M so fine, indeed. My exam result?!! hahahah guest!!! But it is better for me not to tell you. I got a good grade. Just no that. I think d only one thing that can push people to do things or I can say watever is Mind!!!Have u ever heard one proverb that say Mind is the terrible thing to waste. So the final answer to make my effort success is also come from my mind. My mind orders me to study hard, to pass, and with a good grade. So now yes, I succeed in it.
Now eventhought I have graducated from high school but it doesn't mean that my life is end. I have to struggle more. I have to thing about my future. Life at universities is not that esay. It is not a funny time at all(like in high school).....hahaha m seem to be out of the topic hey~~~sorry hp
Anyways, it is time for me to go home. My mum calls me home again. Ok let talk later.
