人間の欲求．．．Hierarchy of Needs
欲求がない人が存在しないですよね。マズロー 心理学者によりますと、人間の欲求は5段階にピラミッドの形で表せます。

まず生理的欲求と安全の欲求は生きる上で根源的な欲求です。食欲、性欲、金銭的な欲などです。そして親和の欲求は他人と関わりたいと思う欲です。また自我の欲求は他人に認められたい、尊敬されたいと思う欲で、最後の自己実現の欲求は自分の能力を生かして自分の可能性を追っかける欲のことです。そして人間は一段階の欲求が満たされると次の欲求が生まれてきていつも違うものを求めるのです。
「カンボジア人の常識と日本人の常識が違う」という話がよく聞きません？そういわれても「それは当然」としかいい様がないですね。だって、まだ安全の欲求が満たされていないカンボジア人には「世界の平和を守ろう」といわれてもまず理解できないでしょうね。こうなると、人にアドバスするときにちゃんとその人の立場や位置を見てから適切なアドバイスをあげないと逆効果（嫌われる）かもしれませんね。これから気をつけよぉ。

According to Maslow, needs are depicted as a pyramid with 5 levels.

Physiological and safety needs are the basic need. We need money, safety, food. Love/belonging need is a need where human want to join a society, want to have friends and so on. Esteem need is a need where human wishes to be respected or self-respect and also to respect the others. The self-actualization need is a need where human want to learn more, understand more, i.e one chase knowledge. After one need is fulfilled, the next will come up. For example, after you have enough food, and live with safety, you want friendship. So you act with the consideration of your friends.
That's why we always find that we can't say "Save the world" to the one who can't even afford their daily meal.
After I learn this, I start to reconsider some of my actions. I like advising or encouraging people, but I have never think of what advices he/she want. Sometimes, my advice was ignored. But now I know how to do. I should learn about him/her then find the suitable advice for him.
