TOEIC
この前受けた英語のテストＴＯＥＩＣの結果が今日出ました。前回より100点ほど良くなりました。990点満点の860点です。ちょっとうれしいです。まぁ、これで十分です。実はカンボジアにいたとき英語を勉強しましたが、来日してから学校の英語授業以外英語を勉強しません。カンボジアと比べたら、日本では気軽に英会話教室を 通えないですね。カンボジアではお金あるときに授業に出るし、お金がなかったら休む。。。という感じでした。教室も高校の教室だったり、学校と隣接する普 通の家で行うし、ストリート学校（？）みたいですね。最近はちゃんとした英会話学校が増えてくるみたいですね。でも僕には昔の英会話教室のほうが通いやす かった気がします。
まぁ、昔のことは置いておいて今回点数は論文などのおかげだと思います。論文は読むのも書くのも英語ですし、おまけに研究室では日本語の分からない外国人のスタッフがいたから英語と接する機会が多くなってきました。
とにかく良かったです。これからも頑張ります。
My English Test (TOEIC)
Last month I took English test called TOEIC (Test Of English for International Communication). The result was released today. I got 860/990. It is not perfect, but this is my real ability, hehehe. In fact, I took this test once 4 years ago and I got 730/990.
After I came to japan, my foreign language is Japanese. I don't have English lesson in university. But I have to read and write my thesis in English. Moreover, there is one foreign staff in my lab, that's why I have many chances to use English and this lead to the improvement of my English as well. Of course, blog is also a place I can use English.
Next time... if I have time I will challenge with more tests such as TOEFL and IELTS too. But I don't know when yet because I have more works to do before that.

Not that high. There are many people got higher than this score. How about you? Did you tried the real test yet?
I read an article about TOEIC test in G21magazine too. This test is good but why do we have to do that test?! 200questions divided into two sections right?each section 100questions!!! oh my god!!! I don't think I have to do it when I find a job...
Anyways, how is japanese now??!! I saw one more activities in the same magazine which talk about japan. I have not read it yet;maybe today heheheh but today is the last holiday. 2morrow start class, start school again :( tired I really have a semester exams you know!! after exams-holiday again hahahh and especially Khmer New Year!!
In Japan, is there any special ceremony on Chinese New Year?? Oh yeach~~ talking about this, yesterday, I felt very happy because all of my relatives got together two times;once at grandmom's house and another at Pooh's house...at grandmom's house, we had a delicious food. At pooh's house veng, we had some snake and I played fireword......Oh cannot describe. It was fun~~~:) :)

In Japan, most students take TOEIC exam for job-hunting. Of course working people also take the exam to measure their English-language ability. If you have other certificate such as TOEFL, you can use this instead of TOEIC. Actually, TOEIC is the easiest test comparing to TOEFL or IELTS, I think.
Anyway, what did you read about Japan? Japanese people do not celebrate Chinese New Year.
It seems that you enjoyed Chinese New Year so much. Good on you. I called home and my relatives gathered at my Grandpa's house. Everyone, except me, enjoyed so much. So envy with you all.
yeah...rite...we had a lot of fun in ma house during chinese new year! By de way....Gong Xi Fa Cai, its late thought... talking abt test....have u ever try SAT? it damn hard...and i have to take it, pluz Toefl...i'm dying...T.T

I`m also going to take TOEIC exam soom. But I don`t think I`ll get high score `cause I`ve practised my English for a long time.
